وزيرة الهجرة : إصدار الوثائق للعائدين من مخيم الهول خطوة أساسية لاندماجهم واستقرارهم
شاركت وزيرة الهجرة والمهجرين السيدة إيڨان فائق جابرو، في مؤتمر حول آلية إصدار الوثائق المدنية للعراقيين العائدين من شمال شرق سوريا والذي اقيم في محافظة اربيل باقليم كردستان وبحضور ممثلين عن مجلس القضاء الاعلى والامن القومي والامن الوطني وعدد من القيادات الامنية في وزارة الداخلية وممثلين عن المنظمات الدولية.
وأكدت السيدة الوزيرة، في كلمة لها “حرصها على حضور المؤتمر لما يمثله من أهمية في معالجة تحدي إصدار الوثائق والمستمسكات الرسمية للعائدين من مخيم الهول”، مشيرة إلى أن ذلك يعد “خطوة محورية لإعادة دمج العوائل في المجتمع وضمان استقرارهم”.
وقدمت السيدة جابرو، شكرها إلى “مجلس القضاء الأعلى، ومستشارية الأمن القومي، ووزارة الداخلية، والمنظمات الداعمة، وعلى رأسها اليونيسف ومنظمة GIZ، لدورهم في التعامل مع هذا الملف الحساس وفق الأطر القانونية والمواثيق الدولية”.
وأوضحت أن “العراق كان أول دولة تبادر إلى نقل رعاياها من المخيم، حيث تمت إعادة أكثر من 17 ألف شخص وتأهيل ما يزيد عن 11 ألفًا منهم، فيما يجري العمل على استكمال إعادة أكثر من 6600 شخص، رغم تحديات التمويل وتوقف بعض الأنشطة بعد تعليق الدعم الأميركي”.
وأشارت السيدة جابرو، إلى أن “الوزارة تمكنت، بالتنسيق مع الاتحاد الأوروبي، من تمويل مشاريع تسهم في إعادة تأهيل مناطق العودة وتعزيز الاستقرار”، واختتمت الوزيرة بتوجيه الشكر لكل من دعم جهود الوزارة في إنهاء معاناة هذه العوائل ومساعدتها على بدء حياة مستقرة.
MOMD Minister : Issuing documents to returnees from al-Hol camp is a essential step for their integration and stability
Minister of Migration and Displacement, Mrs. Evan Faeq Jabro, participated in a conference on the mechanism for issuing Identification documents to Iraqis returning from northeastern Syria,Which was held in Erbil Governorate in KRG also in attendance representatives from the Supreme Judicial Council, the National Security Council, and the National Security Council, along with a number of security leaders from the Ministry of Interior, and representatives of international organizations.
In her speech, the Minister emphasized her “eagerness to attend the conference, given its importance in addressing the challenge of issuing official documents to returnees from al-Hol camp,” noting that this is “a pivotal step toward reintegrating families into society and ensuring their stability.”
Mrs. Jabro thanked “the Supreme Judicial Council, the National Security Advisory, the Ministry of Interior, and supporting organizations, most notably UNICEF and GIZ, for their role in addressing this sensitive issue in accordance with legal frameworks and international conventions.”
She explained that “Iraq was the first country to take the initiative to relocate its nationals from the camp. More than 17,000 people have been repatriated, with over 11,000 of them rehabilitated. Work is underway to complete the repatriation of more than 6,600 people, despite funding challenges and the suspension of some activities following the suspension of US support.”
Mrs. Jabro noted that “the Ministry, in coordination with the European Union, has been able to fund projects that contribute to the rehabilitation of return areas and enhance stability.” The Minister concluded by thanking everyone who supported the Ministry’s efforts to end the suffering of these families and help them begin a stable life.
